  5. A date string is required for each set of numbers that you
  6. enter into the Lottery Data bank.  This allows you to easily
  7. locate and identify any particular week when you are
  8. searching through the data, for example when you are editing
  9. existing data.

  13. The date string may be no more than eight characters.  The
  14. suggested format is DD-MM-YY but you might like to enter
  15. them as (for example) 25th Jan, which also fits into the 8
  16. character limit.
